The objects are handmade, composed from wooden scrap left overs from industrial production. The concept was initially developed as part of the “Crafted Potential” exhibition, a project where designer Kajsa Willner teamed up with a Swedish furniture manufacturer to explore different methods and approaches for reintroducing residual materials into the manufacturing process of furniture design. The Lehman Art Center collection was brought forward in dialogue with Amanda Pratt, the curator, to match and translate the colors of textile artist Sina Dyks works, also part of the exhibition.
