These smooth rounded forms were inspired by the theoretical OORT CLOUD, a group of icy planetesimals that encircle our solar system. They imagined these objects being gently eroded as they travel amongst the cloud over eons. Created in Creator’s of Objects’ Toronto studio using the process of rotocasting; Resin is added in numerous layers from the inside to build up structure and colour depth. While the exterior forms are measured and polished, the interiors tell the story of its creation. Small random bubbles and slight variences in wall thickness make each piece beautiful and unique.
