Sasha Court is a contemporary ceramic artist born and based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In her practice she exclusively hand builds her stoneware vessels using the coil building technique from the bottom up. She views her voluminous forms as a canvas, exploring glaze techniques that highlight color, texture, and the charming imperfections that come with hand building.

Sasha’s process is entirely intuitive, resulting in unique pieces rooted in authenticity and spontaneity. Through her work she explores the duality of love and pain, as well as themes of seduction and beauty. 

In September 2023 her work was featured in the 1000 Vases exhibition in Paris, France and more recently in a group show with Rhett Baruch Gallery in Los Angeles in May, 2024.
