Kajal and Ramarti creation will take you back to the old golden days of the carefree childhood through their joyful creation. Being a big fan of watching cartoons, Ramarti brings them alive into the knots of her Manchaha by weaving realistic-looking cartoon characters onto the rug through the hand-knotting technique. Her fellow weaver, Kajal, shares how much Ramarti loves cartoons; she even plays them while weaving on the rug. In this particular Manchaha, they tried to weave famous animal cartoon characters like Hello Kitty, Winnie, Fox from the dora the explorer and filled in their hand-knotted carpet with the signature pattern of borders, flowers, and geometric patterns. Many animal characters are weaved onto their carpet, and the other motifs resemble the jungle, which is why they named their rug “Van Vihaar” (Safari Park).
