Bagnati - Bathers

Pictalab Milano investigates the immateriality of water in an art piece made up of three panels. As creators of one-off wallpapers, Orsola Clerici and Chiara Troglio developed a new approach to produce this work. The experimental technique is as risky as it is fascinating: using colored water to paint the back of the wallpaper while it lies on the ground, then flipping it over to yield a serendipitous result. In this immersive composition, the viewer enters into an environment of water, figures, flowers, voices, and reflections. The mood is reminiscent of Monet, while the diluted color flows and decides its own course, as uncontrollable and free as it likes to be.
